Abiodun Presents Operational Vehicles To Twenty Permanent Secretaries



The Ogun State Government has distributed operational vehicles to 20 Permanent Secretaries to enhance service delivery, improve inter-agency coordination, and strengthen policy implementation across the state. Speaking on behalf of Governor Dapo Abiodun during the distribution exercise, the immediate past Head of Service, Kehinde Onasanya, noted that mobility remains a crucial component of efficient public administration and effective governance. He explained that government operations demand constant engagement, inter-agency collaboration, and regular monitoring to ensure the smooth execution of policies and programmes.

Onasanya urged the Permanent Secretaries, as key drivers of operations across ministries, departments, and agencies, to demonstrate professionalism, dedication, and diligence in their duties. He emphasised that the continuous commitment of top civil servants to the ISEYA developmental agenda of the administration would yield remarkable results for the state. The former Head of Service also charged the officials to maintain the reputation of the state for public service excellence by upholding integrity and hard work. He praised Governor Abiodun for his purposeful leadership and sustained investment in equipping the civil service with the necessary tools for effective performance.

Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, Augustine Oyesanwen of the Ministry of Forestry, Funmi Soyoye-Baker of the Ministry of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Accountant-General Olalekan Taiwo, and Kehinde Akintomiwa of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment expressed their gratitude to the governor. They assured the government that the operational vehicles would boost productivity and facilitate a more effective discharge of their responsibilities, while pledging their continued dedication to the successful implementation of state policies.
