The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has announced that 18 vessels are currently discharging petroleum products and other cargo at key Lagos ports, including Apapa, Lekki, and Tin Can Island.
In a cargo update released on Saturday, the authority stated that the ships are offloading a variety of items such as bulk fertiliser, general cargo, bulk sugar, petrol, bulk urea, condensate, gypsum, and containerised goods.
The NPA further revealed that 46 additional vessels transporting petroleum products, food supplies, and other imports are expected to arrive at the Lagos ports between Saturday and February 22.
According to the agency, the incoming shipments will include general cargo, bulk urea, wheat, empty containers, crude oil, refined products, gypsum, trucks, bulk gas, pallets, containerised consignments, salt, and petrol.
Meanwhile, seven vessels have already arrived within the port vicinity and are awaiting clearance to berth. These ships are carrying bulk urea, crude oil, diesel, aviation fuel, general merchandise, and petrol.
The update reflects ongoing maritime activity across Lagos ports as authorities continue to manage cargo inflow and vessel traffic.
