Nigeria@62: We are responsible for our challenges, vote wisely in 2023, ADC chieftain, Fayoyin tells Nigerians

 


A chieftain of African Democratic Congress in Ogun State, Hon Ezekiel Fayoyin has urged Nigerians to vote with their conscience in coming 2023 election. 


Fayoyin said this in a message to celebrate Nigeria's 62nd independence anniversary on Saturday. 


In the statement signed by him, Fayoyin said it was imperative for Nigerians to be committed to bring about change in the country.


The statement reads in part: "I want to congratulate every citizen of Nigeria especially Ogun State Indigenes as regards celebration of the 62nd Independence Anniversary of our dear Nation. 


"I think this time we should be remembered of what our commitments are to our Nation because we are the ones responsible for the ups and downs of our Nation. And i want to call the attention of Nigerians globally that the destiny of Nigeria is in our hands collectively. Now that we are preparing and bracing ourselves for the polls coming up next year.


The ADC chieftain added that Ogun people should ensure to make the right choice in the 2023 election. 


"I want to urge every Ogun State citizen to endeavor to do the right thing to uphold democracy on the right path. Let us vote our conscience and not allow ourselves to be bought by any politician. The future of our Nation is in our hands, so therefore we must ensure we do right thing and be mindful of the coming Generations. 


"I want to wish everyone again Happy Independence and may we have the course to celebrate this independence in a better society where we will happy and bold to call our Country our own because of the great developments that would have happened in the nearest future".
