The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore has appealed to Nigerians to reject candidates whom he described as political hustlers.
Sowore made this appeal on Tuesday in a statement on his verified Twitter handle.
“Reject more of the same! Reject rent seekers, 10 percenters, dissemblers, hypocrites, opportunists, political gerrymanderers, carpetbaggers, corrupt and failed political hustlers pretending to care about you only because they want to take advantage of you! #WeCantContinueLikeThis." His tweet reads
“We need a clean break from the despicable past!” he added.
NewHunter observed that Sowore accompanied his tweet with video footage showing three other frontline presidential candidates in 2023; Abubakar Atiku, People’s Democratic Party, PDP; Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; All Progressives Congress, APC; Peter Obi, Labour Party.
The text of the message in the video, titled, “Storytime: A tale of shapeshifters,” reads, “Nigeria, open your eyes. Same people decamping telling sugar-coated stories.
“Selfish interest disguised as National interest. Personal safety over the security of citizens. Nigeria deserves a fresh start. Think third force. Vote wisely.”
