A suspected commercial worker in Nigeria’s commercial Nerve, Lagos, Chioma Davidhas been sent to prison after she was accused of stealing a customers $5,000.
David was accused of stealing from a customer, Bitrus Vengel and the incident took place at a guest house in Lekki, Lagos.
Vengel had engaged the services of David for his pleasure at a guest house in Lekki area. Before he knew it his $5,000 and N100,000 suddenly disappeared while David also escaped.
He suspected that the lady she called in for his pleasure might have made away with his money.
News Hunter gathered that David was arrested and arraigned by local Police Division in Maroko.
Magistrate A.M Davis of the Lagos Magistrate’s Court charged the suspect with a bail of N500,000 with two sureties.
News Hunter reports that the suspect was unable to meet the stringent bail conditions.
However, she was ordered to be remanded at Kirikiri Correctional Facility, Apapa, Lagos, pending when she meets the bail condition, as the lower court adjourns the case to September 22.
