In a viral video recording released from captivity on Monday, the school administrator clarified that the reports making the rounds concerning these stringent conditions are completely false and do not reflect the actual position of the armed group.
According to the details presented in the video, which surfaced exactly 24 days after her forced disappearance, she and her fellow hostages were shown various mainstream media publications alleging that the bandits had stipulated financial ransoms and religious prerequisites before releasing them. Mrs. Alamu firmly maintained that the armed men have not introduced any monetary or faith-based conditions since taking them into the forest. Instead, she stated that the sole demand presented by the network is the immediate release of their detained colleagues currently being held in government custody.
