NNPP suspends Olufemi Ajadi's aide, Kilamuwaye, over anti-party activities

The National Working Committee of the New Nigeria People's Party has suspended its Southwest Spokesperson, Mr. Kazeem Badmus Kilamuwaye, for three months. 

Kilamuwaye, a close associate and aide of the 2023 Ogun State Governorship Candidate, Mr. Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, was also directed to face the disciplinary committee over allegations of anti-party activities.

The suspension announcement was made by the Factional National Publicity Secretary, Barr. Ladipo Johnson, following an emergency NWC meeting held in Abuja on Tuesday.

Sources close to the party reveal that Kilamuwaye's suspension was long overdue, stemming from Olufemi Ajadi's condemnation of the proposed change of the NNPP logo to Kwankwasia colors, similar to Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso's school logo. 

A member of the Kwankwasia's Group National Working Committee(NWC) anonymously disclosed to our correspondent that Mr . Badmus Kilamuwaye's suspension was long overdue. 

It as gathered that this was not unconnected with Mr .Ajadi Oguntoyinbo's condemnation of the purported change of the Logo of the Party to Kwankwasia colour similar to Kwankwaso's school logo.

The uncommon Courage of Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo to challenged the Unilateral proposal of the change of the NNPP logo was the major sin of Kilamuwaye who is believed to be the mouth piece of Mr. Oguntoyinbo.

Another source very close to Kwankwaso also disclosed to our correspondent on condition of anonymity that the plan of Kwankwaso is to seal up the expulsion of Kilamuwaye and Oguntoyinbo with other strong Southwest Leaders at the National Executive Council Meeting slated for September 30th 2024.

The source also made it clear that Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso was unhappy with the 2027 Presidential ambition of Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo and therefore the better option is to push him out of the party before it is too late.

All efforts to reach Kilamuwaye and Oguntoyinbo proved abortive as our correspondent later learnt that Mr. Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo is currently out of the Country for Vacation.
