A concerned group, Ogbmosho Young Democrat has urged former governor of Oyo state, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala to fix his eldest son, Olamiju to a key political position in the state.
The president of the group, Sunday Adeoye in a statement made available to newsmen on Saturday morning stressed that it is time Akala's family benefit from holding another key political position in Oyo State.
Adeoye who noted that Akala has impacted in lives of many need to make his eldest become political relevant in the stage and beyond.
He stressed that Akala's eldest son has shown he is capable of being in political seat looking at his performance as the chairman of Local Government in the state.
He added, "it is high time to push his son to the main stream of Nigeria Politics because he is a man that many people have benefited from him from Ogbmosho, Oyo and Nigeria in general.
"Alao Akala is the man God has used for many people.
"Although his son was once a chairman even though he did not finish because of change in government. But, within the little period he was the chairman, he transformed and we discovered that he took his father footstep and he did legacy work in Ogbmosho north.
"This boy is well learned, brilliant and articulate which we believed by now should be one of our future leaders."
Olamiju Alao-Akala is the eldest son to the Former governor. He contested and won the Chairmanship seat of Ogbomoso North Local Government Area on the platform of APC in May 12, 2018 council election in the state.
He was however suspended by the then governor, late Abiola Ajimobi for decamping from APC to support his father's political ambition in Action Democratic Party (ADP).
